SF-2 boundary lubrication bearing is a three-layer composite self-lubricating sliding bearing with a surface layer of polyoxymethylene plastic filled with PTFE, produced by Zhejiang Mingxu Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd., and has good boundary lubrication performance. Its main features include:
Applicable conditions: SF-2 boundary lubrication bearings are particularly suitable for rotational motion, swinging motion under high load and low speed, and parts that are often opened and closed under load and are not easy to form fluid dynamic lubrication. It is also suitable for places with low speed and medium load under normal temperature conditions, and can replace traditional copper sleeves, thereby reducing costs and extending service life.
Structural design: The bearing is based on steel plate, spherical bronze powder is sintered in the middle, and modified polyoxymethylene (POM) is rolled on the surface, and it contains oil storage pits. This design enables SF-2 to be used for a long time under boundary lubrication conditions without refueling and maintenance, and refueling during the process can further increase the service life of the product.
Application range: SF-2 boundary lubrication bearings are widely used in metallurgical machinery, mining machinery, water conservancy machinery, automobile chassis, forging machine tools, construction machinery, agricultural machinery, steel rolling industry, etc. For example, when used on a steel rolling mill, it can save refueling frequency and simplify the replacement procedure.
Advantages: Due to its excellent load-bearing capacity, low friction coefficient and good wear resistance, SF-2 boundary lubrication bearings are particularly outstanding in medium-high load and low-speed environments. In addition, the plastic layer on its surface can leave a certain oil storage pit during the sleeve molding process, which further enhances its self-lubricating performance.
In short, SF-2 boundary lubrication bearings have been widely used in various harsh working environments due to their unique material structure and excellent performance, especially in applications that require long-term oil-free lubrication or low-speed and heavy-load conditions.

Friction coefficient u: 0.06~0.12 for grease lubrication.
Operating temperature range: -60℃ to +120℃.

Linear expansion coefficient: 11 x 10^-6 K^-1.
Since the SF-2 bearing adopts a self-lubricating material structure composed of three layers of plastic layer, copper powder middle layer and steel back layer. This material is particularly suitable for rotating motion and swinging motion under high load and low speed, as well as occasions where it is often opened and closed under load and it is not easy to form fluid dynamic lubrication.
